The Gold 100 speaker has been carefully designed so that it can be placed in smaller rooms. The class-leading driver technology from the flagship Platinum II series and the beautiful cabinet construction ensure a premium sound and appearance wherever it is positioned.
The Gold 100, is the only stand mounting speaker of the series. The combination of 6½" (165 mm) C-CAM mid/bass driver, MPD high-frequency transducer and rear-facing HiVe II port in a compact, elegant cabinet makes this two-way loudspeaker sound far bigger than it is – it’s composed, adaptable and capable of greater bass presence than seems feasible.
Above all, it’s an accurate and informative listen, able to bring the best from its partnering electronics and the music you’re listening to. Small, in this instance, is remarkably beautiful.

Gold 300 is the pinnacle of the range. Its deceptively large cabinet houses a 2½" (64 mm) C-CAM mid-range driver with a MPD high-frequency transducer above and a pair of 8" (203 mm) RDT II bass drivers below, in a true three-way arrangement.

The centre speaker does the majority of the heavy lifting in any home cinema system – but that doesn’t mean a centre speaker must look like a heavyweight. All of the rumble and wallop of Hollywood’s most action-packed blockbusters is yours from the potent Gold W12 Subwoofer, in which a 12" (305 mm) long-throw driver is reinforced by a pair of Auxiliary Bass Radiators (ABR) and powered by 600 W of Class D amplification. The power and scale this combination are capable of generating can be felt just as easily as it can be heard, thanks to its prodigious 20 Hz bass extension.
Gold W12 has a number of fine-tuning options, and thanks to Monitor Audio’s Automatic Position Correction (APC) system, the subwoofer can work at its optimum no matter where it’s positioned. And this is no blunt instrument – Gold W12 is just as capable of delivering all the music and harmonic detail of a kettle drum to the earth-shattering power of a volcanic explosion.
Settings adjustment is provided by the innovative controller mounted on the cabinet top panel, or by using Monitor Audio’s proprietary ‘SubConnect’ software. The settings provide four fully configurable user pre-sets per input, including modes for; Flat/Music/Movie and Impact equaliser settings. Fine-tuning can be made by adjusting the frequency, slope, trim and equaliser filters for each pre-set. The Night Mode actively reduces the dynamic range of louder sections according to the level the listener desires.

STAND ensures a speaker is positioned at the ideal height, and with perfect stability, to deliver music as it is meant to be heard. Stand was initially designed for use with Monitor Audio’s Gold 100 and Studio speakers, but it will also be suitable with any other bookshelf speakers.
To ensure optimum rigidity and a perfect listening experience, bespoke metals have been used for each section: the top plate is laser-cut steel, the pole is extruded aluminium and the base is die-cast aluminium. The adjustable chrome-plated spikes at the base ensure that STAND is stable in all situations.
STAND was designed for Monitor Audio’s Gold 100 and Studio loudspeakers, but its flexible fixing system allows any bookshelf speaker to be attached. Once attached, loudspeakers will reach their potential by delivering the best in terms of sonic punch, detail and rhythm.
With a choice of a textured black or white finish, STAND complements any speaker in any room.
